Terms of Use
1. Who we are
Arjus is a GP-developed NHS primary care analytics platform operated by Arjus Ltd.
Contact: admin@arjus.co.uk
2. Using Arjus
Most of the site is free to use and needs no account. Use it for your practice, PCN, ICB or your own professional work as much as you like — that is what it is for.
Where an account is needed, register with your own NHS email address, keep your login to yourself, and don't use the site in a way that disrupts it for anyone else. We may suspend an account that is shared, automated or used to extract data in bulk.
3. Content and ownership
3.1 Published NHS material. The documents, publications and open datasets linked or summarised here are published by and remain the property of their publishers — NHS England, DHSC, NHS Digital, NHSBSA, UKHSA, The National Archives and others. Most are available under the Open Government Licence, and their terms apply to them, not these ones. Links always point to the official source.
3.2 Arjus's own work. Separate from that source material, the following is written, compiled and maintained by Arjus and is © Arjus Ltd:
- the document summaries, categorisation and selection in the Policy & Contract Library;
- the written commentary, explanatory notes and captions across the dashboards;
- the benchmarking and peer-comparison methodology, and the derived measures built on top of published data;
- the cleaned, matched and compiled datasets behind the dashboards, and the structure of the site itself.
3.3 What you can do without asking. Read it, use it in your own practice or PCN work, put screenshots and figures in internal papers and board packs, share links freely, and quote a short extract with attribution and a link back to the page it came from.
3.4 What to ask about first. Reproducing the summaries, the curated document list, the written commentary or the compiled datasets in another website, product, publication or service — whether or not it is commercial, and whether or not it is reworded. Permission is usually given for non-commercial use with attribution, so please just ask.
4. Automated access
An AI assistant or browser tool fetching a page because a person asked it to is ordinary use and is welcome. Systematic harvesting is not: please don't crawl, scrape or bulk-copy the pages or the JSON endpoints behind them without written permission.
robots.txt sets out what automated crawlers may index. Automated requests at a volume that affects the service may be rate-limited or blocked.
5. Accuracy and reliance
Arjus presents published NHS data and indicative calculations for planning and quality improvement. It is a guide, not advice. Funding figures in particular are indicative — always confirm financial and contractual matters with your ICB or commissioner, and rely on the original document rather than a summary of it.
The site should not be used to make decisions about the care of an individual patient.
6. Availability and changes
The site is provided as-is, without any guarantee of availability. Dashboards, datasets and features may change or be withdrawn as national publications change.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform develops; the version and date at the top will change when they are. Questions, permission requests and anything that looks wrong: admin@arjus.co.uk.
